Hannah Alexander is an Oregon native with over seven years of experience in the youth mental health field. Her own personal journey through addiction and recovery, coupled with similar struggles faced by family members, has deeply influenced her commitment to her work.
Her firsthand experience with the challenges of finding adequate support after treatment inspired her passion for providing comprehensive services to others beginning their recovery journey.
Hannah holds a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of integrated care. This belief not only fuels her professional endeavors but also her personal commitment to wellness, which she cultivates through her practice as a RYT-200 certified yoga teacher.
Yoga and mindfulness are not just passions but integral parts of the holistic treatment approaches she advocates for, believing that mental health recovery is interconnected with physical and spiritual wellbeing.
Hannah initiated her career as a Care Coordinator in a teen treatment center, then transitioned to providing behavior support therapy for young children with neurodiversities. She gained further experience by assisting children aged 8-13 in a one-on-one setting, facilitating their community access and implementation of behavior support plans. Prior to her current role at INR, she was involved in implementing behavior support, coordinating care, and advocating for students in an elementary school setting.
Outside of her professional life, Hannah enjoys an active and engaged lifestyle. She cherishes her time with her dog, exploring Oregon's beautiful landscapes through hiking, and traveling to new destinations. Hannah also enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, hiking, playing sand volleyball, reading, traveling, spending time with her dog, family and friends. Her adventures help to rejuvenate her spirit and inspire her work, bringing fresh perspectives and renewed energy to her role in mental health care. Hannah's blend of personal experience, professional dedication, and a holistic approach to care allows her to connect with and effectively support the youth in her community, making a lasting impact on those she works with.
