Professional Counselor Associate, QMHP, Registered CADC

I believe that everyone is always doing the best that they can and we do everything for a reason. figuring out that reason is the key to creating change.

I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, focused around all of our feelings having value and purpose and it is what we choose to do with those feelings that makes the difference. I also take a person-centered approach and believe that everyone knows themselves best.

I moved to Oregon in 2019, from California, and have absolutely loved living here. I had personal experiences during my teenage years that led me to pursue therapy as a career. My goal is to help others in the ways that I was helped, and to help others in ways that I wish I had been helped. Since moving to Oregon, I had been working with adjudicated youth (youth on Probation and Parole) and have loved being able to support youth in figuring out their goals and how to achieve them, as well as helping them to gain the skills to be able to make different choices moving forward.

I believe that figuring out how to accept ourselves and leaning into who we are and who we want to be drives us forward and leads us to make decisions that line up with that. I am passionate about working with youth and young adults and helping them to shape who they want to be within themselves and within the world. I absolutely love getting to know each individual’s personality and incorporating that into how we work together and individualizing what is most helpful.

When I am not at work, I love anything outside like gardening, hiking, traveling, floating the river, playing with dogs (not necessarily mine), and all sports, as well as indoor things (aka winter activities) like crafting and reading.
