This includes understanding how to submit superbills and generated receipts of care to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
How to Submit Superbills for Out-of-Network Reimbursement
Receive Your Superbill
At the end of each week of care, you will receive a superbill or a generated receipt detailing the treatment rendered. This document includes all necessary information such as diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and payment amounts.
Review the Superbill
Carefully review the superbill for accuracy. Ensure that your personal information, diagnosis codes, and procedure codes are correct. If you notice any discrepancies, please contact our office immediately for corrections.
Submit to Your Insurance Company
Contact your insurance company to understand their specific submission process for out-of-network claims. Most insurance companies will require you to mail or electronically submit the superbill along with a claim form.
Fill out the required claim form from your insurance provider. Attach the superbill and any other required documents as specified by your insurance company.
Follow-Up
