Staff Nurse

I strive to create a safe space for each person. Treatment is different for everyone and is often non-linear, but the one thing that will stay the same is that you will be met where you're at, and treated with kindness and respect. I hope to make each person feel supported in their journey.

As someone who tried to navigate finding their own treatment resources when I was younger, I was quick to realize how overwhelming it can be and I didn't always have the best experiences finding people that made me feel supported and seen. My treatment never felt tailored to me, and it took several tries to find the right team of people – a team of people who listened.

I came to the realization in nursing school that I could help make a difference as a nurse by making sure that people don't feel that way when they seek treatment. My goal is to make sure that each person leaves each session feeling heard and supported.

One of the things that drives my work the most is working with such a passionate team. Working with a group of people who strive to make a difference in the lives of our community is inspiring, and it lights a fire in me. Overall, there is nothing more rewarding to me than being able to support someone on their journey and knowing that I can be a resource to others.

While not at work, I'm either with my friends, listening to good music, or reading a good book. I also spend most of my time studying to further my degree, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
